Far Cry is one of the best shooting games out there. It rivals Activision’s Call of Duty games in sales and the franchise has amassed a loyal following.
Back in 2014, they released Far Cry 4 which, up to this day, is still quite popular. The game sold more than 7 million copies worldwide and was considered a massive success. It even got more sales than its predecessor, Far Cry 3.
The game follows the protagonist Ajay Ghale, a Kyrati-American who returns to his homeland, Kyrat. He was set to scatter the ashes of his late mother.
Upon his arrival in the country, he quickly saw that the country was torn between two factions: the Royal Army led by the game’s main antagonist, King Pagan Min, and a rebel movement known as the Golden Path who vows to reclaim the country from Pagan Min’s oppressive rule.
The bus that Ghale was in was immediately raided by the Royal Army. Ghale was then sent to a prison where he found the commander of the Golden Path, Sabal.
With the help of Sabal, the two of them managed to escape the prison. After Sabal tells Ghale the history of the Golden Path, Ghale took on the mantle.
It was then learned that Ajay’s father was the one who created the rebel faction. Now fighting for the group’s existence. It is up to Ajay Ghale to help the rebel army reclaim the land that’s rightfully theirs.
There are currently two commanders in the faction: Sabal and Amita. Sabal wants to uphold the traditional values set by Ghale’s father while Amita wants to further the group by doing drug trade for money.
Ajay’s decisions will ultimately lead to the rise or fall of the group and it is up to the player which one he/she chooses.
The game has two endings and it involves the player’s decision with regards to how you deal with Pagan Min. The first and the one considered to be the bad ending is where Ajay kills Pagan Min on the spot.
On the other hand, the good and more in-depth ending is when Ajay decides to listen to Pagan Min.
If you choose the good ending, Pagan goes on to talk about the real story behind everything. Apparently, Ajay’s father tasked his mother, Ishwari, to spy on Pagan Min. But instead, both of them fell in love with each other and bore a child which they named Lakshmana.
After knowing Ishwari’s betrayal, Ajay’s father killed Lakshmana but was then later killed by Ishwari.
Ishwari then fled Kyrat with the young Ajay and the rest was history, well, until the game’s story begins.
The Far Cry 4 is a little bit more diverse than the Call of Duty games. For one, players have the right to choose how they will approach each mission. They can either go stealth or they can go with brute force.
Ajay also has a variety of weapons at his disposal and he is aided by the Golden Path warriors. These warriors are controlled by the computer AI, so all you have to really worry about is Ajay.
During the course of the game, you will choose decisions that will affect the outcome of the game.
Far Cry 4 is a very good shooting game. If you want a more robust FPS game than Call of Duty, definitely play Far Cry 4.
Kickstarter campaigns are always started if someone has a revolutionary idea and they want the people to fund it. Some of the time, it works and the product or idea becomes a reality. But, for most people who ask for crowdfunding to make their ideas come to life, their ideas do not see the light of day.
In this article, we are going to talk about a really cool mobile phone that stemmed from a kickstarter campaign. Basically, the idea behind making this phone is that people often find themselves lacking storage. Even though most mobile phones nowadays sport up to 128 GB of microSD card support, it is still not enough for their needs.
The Nextbit Robin is a mobile phone that will (hopefully) help you with your storage problems. How will this mobile phone do it, you ask? Well, with the help of cloud storage of course.
Cloud storage services have become quite popular in recent years and the makers of this mobile phone know that by using their own cloud storage service to help people get by their storage needs, that probably more prominent mobile phone manufacturers will take note.
The Nextbit Robin is actually very good to look at. It sports a rectangular design with chic colors (the one I am talking about is their sky blue variant, which by the way, looks very nice and vibrant).
This mobile phone is built mainly with polycarbonate plastic and it does have an aluminum frame on the side. It has some nice curvatures to allow you to grip this phone, so people with sweaty hands do not have a problem wielding it.
As for the mobile phone’s display, the Nextbit Robin comes with a 5.2-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1080. Full HD has become the minimum standard in today’s mobile phone and I am happy that most companies (and even this crowdfunded phone) come with this screen.
I am always a sucker for IPS displays mainly because of its amazing color reproduction and contrast. I would not go into detail on the display as it is one of the best display panels on the market.
The main feature of the phone, however, is its aforementioned cloud storage service. The Robin phone comes with the Nextbit cloud storage service baked into the Android Lollipop operating system. What I mean by this is that your phone will intelligently backup all of your photos and files to their cloud storage service whenever it detects that you do not have enough space on your phone (and microSD card).
There are some minor quirks with the feature, though. For one, it doesn’t allow you to manually upload to the cloud storage service (meaning, you cannot save your files to the Nextbit cloud if you still have ample storage on your phone). Furthermore, the phone’s automatic cloud storage service is a little bit buggy at the moment with files not being uploaded to the cloud.
Still, the Nextbit Robin is a promising mobile phone and I am pretty sure it would go a long way. I hope that more prominent mobile phone manufacturers will take note of this as this is truly one of the best features of a mobile phone for quite some time.
Since this phone has an automatic backup feature and it supports mobile phone data, be sure to get a mobile phone signal booster so that the automatic cloud backup scheme will not be hindered.
The Nextbit Robin is a promising phone from a kickstarter campaign and I hope that it will become one of the most truly successful phones this year.
Oppo is a new and emerging mobile phone company that has released a couple of mobile phones with interestingly unique features. One of their mobile phones, for example, have a rotating rear camera so that you can angle it to take that perfect shot. Other cameras offer a really slim profile; it is a very slim profile, in fact, that it is considered to be the thinnest mobile phone in the world.
Today, we are going to talk about another mobile phone offering from Oppo that enters the mid-range market. The Oppo Mirror 5 is an affordable mobile phone, but does it come with specs that you can see on more premium options? Let’s find out!
The design of the Oppo Mirror 5 is, to put it simply, shiny. It has a bi-metallic frame and that the back cover is made of durable plastic. Also, the front of the screen is made out of a durable glass material and it just shines, along with the back cover of the phone.
Oppo, as a company, has always been revered by a lot of people because of their attention to detail, and that is evident in the Oppo Mirror 5. Well, there is a little bit of drawback, or should I say, annoyance when it comes to shiny materials: they are prone to fingerprints. Still, this isn’t really a big concern since you can just wipe it off, but it is a little bit of a quirk for some people.
The usual volume control buttons and the power button are situated on the right side of the mobile phone. The buttons are carefully placed and they are within easy reach even for small hands. At the top of the phone, you will see the IR blaster and the 3.5mm headphone jack. At the bottom is the USB charging port, which a lot of mobile phones have that design as well.
As for the display of the mobile phone, the Oppo Mirror 5 comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a lowly resolution of only 960×540 and a pixel density of 220 ppi. You wouldn’t enjoy stunning visuals with this phone, so bear that in mind if you want to stream content on this mobile phone.
The processor of this mobile phone is adequate for modern day needs as it is packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad-core processor with clock speeds of 1.2GHz. It also comes with the Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Even though the specs aren’t really powerful (at least compared to other high-end phones), the Oppo Mirror 5 is surprisingly snappy and gaming with the device is buttery smooth (I guess this is due to the low-resolution screen).
The camera of the Oppo Mirror 5 is okay, for the most part. It comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It comes loaded with a lot of different shooting modes to choose from, so you can take pictures to your heart’s content.
Lastly, the Oppo Mirror 5 comes equipped with the Android Lollipop operating system, which means that it comes with a very clean interface and menu navigation is quite smooth.
The Oppo Mirror 5 may not be up to par with high-end phones, but it does a pretty good job for a mobile phone with these specs. The Oppo Mirror 5 costs only $198.
Are you wondering why some people who go to the gym have more muscle than others? That is probably because they are taking Creatine. Creatine is a well-researched substance that has been proven to help you gain more strength and muscle, versus the people who don’t.
Today, we’re going to take a look at a promising Creatine supplement called the Naturo Nitro Creatine Chrome. The name is quite a handful, but its active ingredient is a rare, but powerful one. The main ingredient of the Naturo Nitro Creatine Chrome is Magnesium Creatine. The manufacturer claims that Magnesium Creatine is rapidly absorbed in the body compared to the already popular creatine monohydrate.
Let’s see the features of the Naturo Nito Creatine Chrome:
- Advanced Creatine System Fuels Your Body with More ATP and Amplified Energy. Naturo Nitro Creatine Chrome contains Creatine MagnaPowder™ — an advanced, patented form of creatine called magnesium creatine. Scientific studies reveal this form of creatine is absorbed by your body ultra-fast (much faster than creatine monohydrate), flooding your muscles with ATP (energy) allowing you to power through workouts and experience incredible gains in strength, size, and lean muscle mass.
- Maximizes Lean Muscle Mass and Size. Naturo Nitro Creatine Chrome works by increasing the supply of ATP in your muscles. When this happens the cells in your muscles get bigger as a result of all the additional ATP. This allows you to train harder, lift heavier and longer, leading to massive muscle gains. Creatine has also recently been shown to be a myostatin inhibitor, meaning it prevents the myostatin protein from being synthesized by your skeletal muscle.
- Speeds Up Muscle Recovery And Fights Fatigue. Creatine promotes lean muscle mass, acts as a support system to prevent against muscle breakdown, and aids in muscle recovery. Creatine also enhances the ability to produce higher muscular force, especially during short bouts of maximal exercise.
- Combines The Power of Creatine and Magnesium in a Single Dose. Magnesium is essential for over 300 bodily functions. It has been shown to improve strength, energy, and endurance levels. The most important aspect of magnesium’s relationship to creatine is that creatine requires magnesium for maximum conversion to Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) also known as energy.
So, we’ve seen that the Naturo Nitro Creatine Chrome has its patented MagnaPower blend, which contains Magnesium Creatine. This form of Creatine is fast-absorbing and it does what it does in a short amount of time.
So, how does this translate to the real world? Basically, what this means is that you will get the energy you need during your workouts if you take it as a pre-workout, or it can instantly jumpstart your muscle recovery if you take it as a post-workout supplement. Heck, you can even drink it as a pre and post-workout every day!
Before you buy one, just two things to take note here. First, this is a supplement in a capsule form. Unlike other Creatine brands, the Naturo Nitro Creatine Chrome doesn’t come in powder form.
Second, if you’re taking any Creatine supplement, the Naturo Nitro Creatine included, you need to drink at least 10 glasses of water per day; This is to ensure that you will not get dehydrated.
With that being said, the Naturo Nitro Creatine Chrome is one of the best Creatine supplements around. It only costs $20 for 30 servings.
The gaming company, Nintendo, has released a lot of portable gaming devices over the years. Their first portable gaming device they’ve released is the Gameboy Series, and then later, it has evolved into what is now called the Nintendo 3DS.
The Nintendo 3DS is a very good gaming platform because you are presented with two touch screens that serve different purposes, depending on the game you’re playing. This makes it more of a dynamic and fun experience.
Now, the Nintendo 3DS is a fully capable portable gaming machine, and it also has the tech specs that can play awesome games. Here’s a question: do you know that you can also play Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games on the 3DS? The answer to that question is a resounding: YES!
How can you play the said platforms’ games onto the new 3DS, you ask? Simple, through homebrew applications. Homebrew applications are made from third-party manufacturers or some people who have some love for a certain device. In this case, the Nintendo 3DS.
These homebrew applications allow you to use the Nintendo 3DS as a gaming platform to play older games. In order for you to do that, you need to have and do a few things before you can enjoy retro games on the 3DS.
First, you need to have an R4 3DS card. The R4 3DS card allows you to save homebrew applications via an SD card. The R4 3DS card can also store your favorite games. In short, you’ll have everything you need in one portable package.
Next, what you’ll want to do is update your Nintendo 3DS to a custom firmware. Think of a Custom firmware as your device’s operating system. Custom firmwares are required to be installed before you can use any third-party devices, such as the R4 3DS cards. Without installing any custom firmware, the 3DS cannot read the card, and therefore, everything will be all for nothing.
Now, after you’ve installed a custom firmware, you can now use certain exploits in order for you to fully play retro games on the Nintendo 3DS. Some notable exploits come from certain games such as Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Ironfall: Invasion, to name a few.
Custom firmware isn’t just limited to playing retro games on your Nintendo 3DS. For example, the CakesFW allows you to do various things on your 3DS console. Here are just some of the features you can do with this custom firmware:
- SPIDER 4.x-9.2, MSET 4.x and 6.x and Ninjhax 1/2 support for old 3ds/xl/2ds.
- MSET 4.x and Ninjhax 1/2 support for new 3ds/xl.
- Options to boot to sysNAND (for GBA/DSi) and emuNAND up to 10.2 on old 3ds, or 9.5 on new 3ds.
- Emunand supports redNAND and GW emuNANDs.
- Sig patches
- Patches are contained in “cakes”. The .cake format is a simple format that bundles FIRM patches, and tells the patcher what those patches need to work.
In other words, Custom Firmwares unlock a few other options that original firmwares hide from the public. You can only install custom firmwares if you have R4 3DS cards.

Seven years and 4 models later, Nintendo launched the Nintendo 3DS, which raked in the highest sales in Nintendo handheld console history. The Nintendo 3DS looks similar to its predecessors. The same clamshell appearance and LCD plus touch screen. One particular ingenious new feature of the 3DS has made it different from any other DS. The Nintendo 3DS can create an illusion on screen using binocular vision or depth perception, making the graphics appear as if they are 3D. This sparkled interest in the gaming community and took game play to a whole new level.
The Nintendo 3DS has numerous technical improvements from its predessors. The 3DS has a plug cartridge slot that allows all games from previous DS models to be played. Though in some games, especially those built for smaller DS frames such as the DS or DS Lite, pictures on the screen may appear slightly stretched out and blurry. It also features the Nintendo ‘Spot Pass’, which is a permanently turned on application that connects the device to any WiFi Hotspot, allowing it to connect to the Internet. Another unique feature of the 3DS is its ‘Street Pass’. Like the “Spot Pass”, this feature is enabled even when the console is in sleep mode. Street Pass allows game players to interact with each other when they get within a certain distance from one another. It is a somewhat altered version of reality where if game players pass each other on the street, their game avatars do the same. Their Nintendo characters, provided that they play the same game, will share game information or challenge each other for a virtual combat.
For more subtle socializing, the 3DS also offers its take on social networking. The Miiverse, in which personalized virtual characters are created using Miimaker, allows game players to meet and make friends with each other in the virtual world. Similar to the DSi, the 3DS also has an online store, now renamed to the Nintendo Eshop. Game players can buy games and applications at the Nintendo Eshop. However, unlike the DSi Shop, Nintendo points have been made redundant and game players have to make their purchase real cash. The Nintendo 3DS Eshop offers more games from the previous GBA series than the DSi shop. This makes its game compatibility somewhat wider.
Six months after the initial release of the 3DS, sales proved to be unexpectedly disappointing. Therefore, Nintendo decided to draw in more game players by offering 10 free new GBA games through the Nintendo Eshop, provided that the 3DS was bought at regular price. It was an effective tactic as sales skyrocketed. In 2012, one year after the outstanding success, an upgrade to the 3DS was released. The updated version, 3DS XL, has a bigger screen. Game players loved both 3DS and 3DS XL. The two consoles allowed Nintendo to report the highest profits recorded since the release of the original Game Boy.
